The first thing you should do is create a new page for your blog. This will function your static home page but, for now, it’ll look and act like all other pages in your site.
STEP 01: Login to Blogger with your Gmail and click on the Page option from the dashboard. Then you will see the interface like the picture given below. Click on the “+ New Page” option to create a new page.
STEP 02: The option to create a new page is coming up, so write home in the title from here. And input the text of your choice in the Contacts option. And click the publish button.
STEP 03: After creating the new homepage, you can see the output of this page by clicking on the eye button.
STEP 04: Click on the “Settings” option from Blogger’s Dashboard. And scroll to the “Errors and redirects” option.
STEP 05: From the “Error and redirects” option, click on the “Custom redirects” option and then click on the “ADD” option.
STEP 06: Do the text that I have included in the photo below. And enable the “Permanent” option and click OK.
STEP 07: Once saved, it will look like the photo below. From there, click on the interface in the middle.
STEP 08: Add one “/” from the “custom redirect” option and click OK. After pressing OK, the custom redirect option will come up. Click on Add from here.
Now if anyone wants to enter the URL of the website, they will be redirected to the newly created home page.
